Sustainable energy, shaping tomorrow’s landscape

The brief was to develop a simpler and more accessible solution to make sustainable energy a feasible option for a wider audience.




We conducted internal interviews to uncover the core values and essence of the brand, aiming to find an archetype that would resonate with our audience. Through this exploration, we identified two potential archetypes: the Sage, representing wisdom and knowledge, and the Magician, symbolizing transformation and innovation. We then experimented with bright and strong visual styles, merging the Sage's wisdom with the Magician's creativity.

Our brand exploration led us to develop a dynamic hybrid that combined insightful guidance with innovative solutions. This brand identity created a cohesive and compelling user experience.

We devised a comprehensive plan focusing on simplicity, transparency, and user education. We introduced a savings calculator that considers various factors such as smart meter readings, roof size, household size, and electric car ownership to provide accurate and customised savings estimates.
User testing was integral to refining the calculator and ensuring a seamless experience. We allowed users to skip questions for a more generic estimate and provided the option to save quotes without sharing their email upfront. The results page was meticulously tested and iterated to enable users to adjust their quotes in real-time.
